Clinic Description:

After a good skating foundation is established, players can learn how to use their edges to effectively protect a puck and also to get more power in their shot. In this clinic players will learn strategies for controlling a puck in traffic and also open ice. They will also learn how to protect the puck effectively in all areas of the ice which can lead to optimizing scoring opportunities in the offensive zone. Other areas of work will include various types of shots and stickhandling maneuvers that can effectively create more time and space for a player. Combining these concepts, creates a player who can not only get into an area to score, but that can also put the puck in the back of the net.
